Pink 3D Glitter Foam Star With Neon Pink Seed Beads
Are you looking online for creative card making ideas? Look no further! Here's a funky handmade card making idea with a pink star design. It's a great design for making thank you cards, and indeed, for many other occasions.
Difficulty Level: Intermediate
You Will Need:
- A plain white card (square-shaped)
- A small piece of white foam (I used the packing foam sheet that my printer came in!)
- Holographic micro glitter
- Baby pink mulberry paper
- Some neon pink seed beads
- Pink 3D paint
- Spray on glue (I used 3M's Spray Mount)
- PVC glue
- Scissors or a craft knife
- Felt tip pen
- It's glitter time! Spray glue your your piece of white packing foam. Then liberally cover it with the holographic micro glitter and shake off the excess.
- Draw and cut out: On the reverse side, draw a star shape onto your piece of foam, and cut it out carefully. On the example above, the star is 36mm high and has five points.
- Paint it! Get your pink 3D paint out and carefully draw round the edges of your star (glitter side up). Leave to dry.
- Bead it! Use your PVC glue to stick a neon pink seed bead onto each point of your star. Glue 2 or 3 more along its edges. Leave to dry.
- Tear: Carefully tear a small rectangle from your baby pink mulberry paper (approx 36mm by 55mm).
- Spray glue: Spray glue the mulberry paper and glue it onto the center of your card. Then spray glue the star and position it onto the mulberry paper.
- Bead it some more! Use your PVC glue to stick 3 or 4 neon pink seed beads around each of the four corners of the rectangle of baby pink mulberry paper. Leave to dry.
