Homemade Greeting Card Ideas
How To Make It...
- Print it!
- Fold it! If you are not using a gatefold card blank then score your A5 card to make a gatefold card using your scoreboard.
- Cut it!
- Cut 2 rectangles from sheet 14 slightly smaller than the panels on the front of your card.
- Cut a rectangle from sheet 6 slightly smaller than the inside of your card.
- Cut out one heart from sheet 3 leaving a white border all the way around.
- Cut out one of the sentiments from sheet 1 leaving a white border all the way around.
- Cut out an oval around the girl image from sheet 7 using either your scissors, punch or die.
- Cut a slightly larger oval from sheet 8 using your fancy scissors or scallopped punch/dies.
- Color it! Using your pens and pencils colour the image from the Christmas Doodles eKit.
- Glue it!
- Glue the rectangles from sheet 14 to the front panels of your card.
- Open your card and glue the rectangle you cut earlier from sheet 6 to the inside of your card.
- Now add your sentiment to the centre of sheet 6.
- Add a heart to the bottom right corner of your insert.
- Glue the image to the scallopped oval - allow to dry.
- Now glue the left hand side of the oval to the left hand side panel, making sure that it is central to your card front.
- Get doodling! With your fine black liner doodle around the edges of the papers and add little dots to each scallop.
- Bling it!
- Add some glitter to the fur trim of the image.
- Place your gemstones to the bottom of the right hand panel.
- Finish with adding some glaze to the buttons of the jacket... perfect!
