Navy Blue 3D Glitter Foam Flower Design
You Will Need:
- A plain white card (C6)
- A small piece of white foam (I used the packing foam sheet that my printer came in!)
- Holographic micro glitter
- Navy blue mulberry paper
- Some royal blue and metallic silver seed beads
- Spray on glue (I used 3M's Spray Mount)
- One clear flower bead
- PVC glue
- Scissors or a craft knife
- Felt tip pen
Here's How To Make This Greeting Card / Handmade Card Making Idea
- It's glitter time! Spray glue your piece of white packing foam. Then liberally cover it with the holographic micro glitter and shake off the excess.
- Draw and cut out: On the reverse side, draw eight leaf shapes (approx. 2cm in length) onto your piece of foam, and cut them out carefully.
- Tear: Carefully tear a small square from your navy blue mulberry paper (approx 4cm sides).
- Glue it! Draw a large asterix shape onto the mulberry paper, with your PVC glue, and position your foam petals so that they are arranged in a flower shape. The petals should overlap in the center.
- Bead it! Use your PVC glue to stick the clear flower bead into the center of your petal arrangement. Leave to dry.
- Spray glue: Spray glue the mulberry paper and glue it onto the center of your card.
- Bead it some more! Use your PVC glue to stick 3 royal blue / metallic silver seed beads around each of the four corners of the rectangle of navy blue mulberry paper. Leave to dry.
