Here's how to make this modern Valentine card idea...
Difficulty Level: An intermediate Valentine card idea.
You Will Need:
- White Spring Fold card
- Sheets 1 , 2, 4 and 15 from folder '06-lovex3 folder'
- Small piece of white card stock
- Black quick drying ink pad
- Clear Glamor Dust glitter or any silver glitter
- Small piece of purple organza ribbon
- Craft glue and double sided tape
- Glue pen
Valentine Card Ideas
How To Make This Spring-Fold Card Design...
- Print it out! Open up folder '06-lovex3 folder' in the Printable Sweetie Pie Bumper-Sized eKit [the what?]. Print out sheets 1, 2, 4 and 15.
- Cut it!
- Cut a piece from sheet 15 (12cm x 5.5cm).
- Cut a piece slightly larger from sheet 04.
- Cut an 8cm square from sheet 04.
- Cut out the lilac and green bordered sentiment from sheet 01.
- Cut a green heart from sheet 01.
- Ink it! Ink all the edges of the cut out pieces with the ink pad.
- Stick it!
- Stick the 12cm x 5.5 cm rectangle heart paper onto the slightly larger purple piece and trim to leave a narrow border.
- Stick it to the bottom section of the spring card.
- Stick the 8cm square purple paper to the top half of the spring card.
- Stick the top of the card to the bottom so that the top half springs up.
- Stick the lilac and green sentiment onto the small piece of white card stock and trim to leave a narrow border, stick it to the top half of the card on top of the purple square.
- Glitter It! Use your glue pen to apply glue to all of the hearts on the heart paper, including the sentiment. Then sprinkle the Glamour Dust or silver glitter over the glue. Shake off any excess.
- Tie it! Tie the purple ribbon into a bow.
- Stick it!
- Stick the ribbon to the bottom right hand side of the card.
- Stick the green heart to the centre of the bow.
